Mary Jane, very good kitty

Mary Jane

Hello, my name is Mary Jane! Some of you will get why it is and others...not so much. I am the official shop kitty cat and personal greeter! I came a long ways from Kuwait. Where I was not treated very kindly. Lucky for me local animal rescue group Cat Works saved me from a life of neglect and abuse. I was brought to Massage and Yoga Center one day for a Cats and Mats yoga class. After charming my way into everyone's heart and practically claiming the place as my own, I found my furever home. Now, this former street cat is living the life of royalty (as if I deserve any less). Make sure to stop by and play with me!

Likes: dangly stringy things, naps in the sunlight, sleeping between clients' legs during massages, purring on yoga mats during class, attacking my moms, other animals, playing with my toys, watching birds on the projector in the yoga room, eating bugs ( I am pest control)

Dislikes: being stepped on (I get it, I match the carpet), being picked up by children, political debates, being told where I can and can not go, loud cars in the parking lot and having my picture taken.

Shirlene, RP overall ball of sunshine

I would like to greet everyone with a smile and introduce myself as a Lightworker. (A person who spreads awesome light throughout the world and shares gifts) I currently volunteer at a nearby hospital performing Reiki on staff and Oncology patients, as well as the NODA Program (No One Dies Alone) If you are seeking to become closer to your true self, I feel I can help you with that. I have learned various tools along my life’s journey, that have helped me to stay balanced, heal past issues and face good or bad challenges that arise. One of those tools happens to be Reiki. I am a Level II RP, IARP. Since 2011, I have worked on myself and those dear to me. I feel that it is now time to reach out further with my light to others in need. I have always fully embraced my gifts and continue to grow them. It is great joy, that I receive, in sharing my gifts with you. Gratitude for life is enhanced each day. Join me some time...

Hello, my name is Carol Lott I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher and the owner of the Massage and Yoga Center. With over 20 years of experience in the health field, I am trained in many forms of massage, corrective bodywork, energy work, and Yoga.

Starting in 1996 I studied Reflexology with the International Institute of Reflexology. I graduated from Rainstar University Massage Therapy school in 1997. Over the years I have earned many certificates in various types of massage therapy and yoga; see below for a list of certifications. I specialize in physician referrals, post PT and rehabilitation from accidents/ injuries as well as massage for repetitive use issues. I also work with those interested in the use of massage and/or yoga for pain management.

In 2007 I became a Certified Yoga Instructor, in 2009 a Certified Dharma Yoga Teacher and in 2011 a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader. The greatest influence on the present work that I do happened in 2009 when I studied Yoga from Yoga Master Sri Dharma Mittra and in 2012 when I studied Myofascial Release Therapy from John Barnes in Sedona, Arizona. After years of gaining knowledge and experience the work I do has come together like a perfect recipe made up of Massage, Myofascial release, Reflexology, and Yoga.

As an advanced Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher, I have worked with many individuals seeking relief from pain or stress. I receive Physician referrals for Sports Massage and Medical Massage. I also work with children, teens, expecting mothers and those with a complicated medical history or a disability. My specialty is offering sessions of Massage therapy and Yoga together.

With over 10,000 massages given, and thousands of Yoga classes taught, it is my duty and my pleasure to help others to restore & maintain their wellbeing.

Sam, LMT, Human Teddy Bear

Hey, I'm Sam, Sam I am. I have been massaging for about 5 years now! All 5 years spent at Massage and Yoga Center.
I recently graduated with a degree in athletic training from Alvernia University. I like to incorporate everything I have learned through all my schooling into my massage sessions. Stretching and working the muscles to really help my client get relief from injuries, chronic pain, stressed muscles and everything in between.  Not all my messages are sports-based but I am the person to see for any kind of sports-related relief.
When I am not working or going to school I enjoy trying everything life has to offer. I am often out hiking, sightseeing, traveling and just overall living life! I take new clients all the time, and I hope to work with you to help you feel like you again!
